car rental at MCO: national vs. budget?

Last time we rented a SUV from National (Car Care Center), it was fine except the Emerald Club did not give me any advantages - nobody waiting in line when I was there

This upcoming trip we plan to pick up a car from MCO. It seems Budget is cheaper than National. Just wondering anyone rented from them before - we plan to rent a Mini-Van this time.

how did you get budget to be cheaper, i found national and thrifty... too expensive this december.

I'm in the same position. I can only find minivans at Dollar, Thrifty and Avis. Avis is much much cheaper. Thrifty's and Dollar's rates are similar $800+ for the week while Avis is $200+.

I used code K306102. Base Rate for a 6 day(s) 11 hour(s) rental at MCO is: 254.00 USD.

I tried to book another minivan at Avis and see that they are all sold out at MCO.


You should probably know that I live in Jamaica and I think that helps a lot with the rates! For some reason we seem to get much lower rates than folks who live in the US.
