Sorry, I know this is not WDW related but I figured someone here would know. I wil be traveling to DFW in January and I need to rent a car. I will be traveling on United with 3 small children so I am looking for the easiest rental agency. National has the best price but I am willing to pay more for convenience. I definitely do not want to have to take a shuttle. TIA for your help!
BTW I thought MCO was bad for taxes but Dallas is absolutely outrageous...almost $50 for a $115 car rental

The way DFW airport is set up, you're going to have to take a shuttle for any car rental. We have 5 separate terminals, and then all of the rental cars are grouped together in another location.

Here's a map of all the terminals (Terminals A, B, C, D, E):

Rental Car Center
DFW’s 200-acre Rental Car Center consolidates 10 rental car companies under one roof, giving customers the comfort and convenience of one-stop shopping. Located near the south entrance of DFW Airport, the Rental Car Center offers covered parking for 5,000 rental cars and efficiently handles over 1,100 rentals per hour.

After collecting your baggage, follow the Rental Car signs to the designated pick-up area on the lower level of the terminal. From there, board the Rental Car shuttle bus which serves all rental car companies, departing every 5 minutes and reaching the Rental Car Center in approximately 10 minutes.
The rental cars are all grouped together near the south airport exit, which would be off of the left side of this map.
