Car park and shuttle bus

Does anyone know how early the parks car park opens at DLP and also how early the shuttle bus to the Disney hotels starts running? Thanks.

Are you staying at a disney hotel? If so each hotel has its own car park whichis open 24 hours per day

We are considering staying at the DCR but I thought it might be nice to visit some of the other hotels for breakfast. I didn't think we would be allowed into the hotel car park but thought we could use the parks car park and then catch the shuttle bus to the hotel. The only trouble is we would want breakfast before park opening so I'm not sure the car park would be open or the shuttle buses running.

I've no idea what time the main car park opens, but the shuttle buses start running at around 6am - they are used a lot by the hotel workers at that time of day, getting from the train station to their workplace .

Thanks for that - seeing as breakfast isn't included at DCR we might use it as an excuse to have a look around some of the other hotels.

I am trying to think but when we stayed at DCR ranch in October we left there around 7.30am (i think) and the carpark was always open when we got there (takes around 5 mins to get fro DCR to Disney CarPark) and we were never the first ones there.

I wouldn't bother going to any hotel other than DLH for breakfast. But certainly have a nosey at them.

You could always grab a breakfast EoS or Starbucks and eat by the lake.

Depends on what your preference is for breakfast though!
Hot items do not always appeal every morning and some mornings a pastry type breakfast us called for - the Cheyenne would suffice in that instant and be cheaper

I'd only go for breakfast at the other onsite hotels before 7.30am - otherwise you'll queue to pay, then queue to join the buffet etc etc - not a pleasant or relaxing start to the day. HNY and DLH are the exceptions - I'd go after EMH to those .

If we do stay at DCR we would definitely do one late breakfast at DLH.

Any of the other hotels we visited for breakfast we would be aiming for early so we had time to eat and get back for EMH - hence wanting to know how early the car park opens. I am feeling quite nostalgic about our first two stays at sequoia lodge so thought we might pay breakfast there a visit and possible HNY too, I don't think we'll ever get to stay there so might just visit for breakfast instead.
