Car or bus

We are planning a longer trip (in June) and plan to take daily breaks and in some cases go off site to eat. Using DHS as an example, we plan to take the bus to Studios in the AM and then go back to the hotel in the afternoon to shower and/or nap. Then we will drive off site to eat. My question is, should we just drive back to Studios while we are already in the car? Or go back to All Star Movies and take the bus? Is the walk back to the car at the end of the night much longer than the walk to the bus? Is the traffic bad at the end of the night?

Just bear in mind that the three All Star resorts are at the far corner of Disney property, basically all the way out by Animal Kingdom. I would drive straight to DHS from wherever you go to eat; you'll likely get a better parking spot there later in the day.
