This is our first diy so is it better to do the car now or nearer June when we go?

Also what sort of price would we be looking at for a minivan? Have seen one for £351, not sure if we have to add tank of petrol on. Would prefer to take it back full as it's usually cheaper.

I book when i see a good deal, i usually book usrentacar with 50 deposit and i always take a full tank as k dont wanna worry if its not got a lot in finding a petrol station after a flight

All personal perference though

We more often than not book with usrentacar too, I pay the cancellation fee so if anything comes up cheaper then I cancel and re-book, ive done this a few times.

I would wait for a while as there are usually deals around.

We always take the gold insurance option as it includes a tank of fuel plus the extra driver which we need and is usually less than paying for both locally.

Last 2 rentals we have done have been through Holiday Autos as they were cheapest.

It not always worth it to take the petrol option, so its always best to check, if you use budget they include another driver free if its you spouse/partner etc.
