hey all

well after doing some research in became apparent that my travel insurance didnt cover the very complex car insurance system they have in America

so i continued looking around the net and happened across a insurance firm in the uk that offers all the coverage you will need for your rental for around $9 a day, to get the same level of cover when you purchase the insurance from the rental agency will cost in some cases $40 to $50 a day more :scared1:

its called icarhireinsurance
just either get an annual insurance cover or purchase on the specific days you need

i paid $68 for a 7 day rental
i just need to sit down and work out my other dates and ill purchase the rest
i only need one day here and 2 days there so the annual pass didnt come out as the best option for me

•USA and Canada Territory Only
•Collision/Loss Damage Waiver (CDW/LDW) up to £65,000 / €80,000 / $110,000
•Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) up to £650,000 / €775,000 / USD $ 1 Million
•Covers Excess damage to windscreens, tyres, roof and undercarriage
•Covers up to 9 named drivers in the rental agreement

•Single-trip policy - use it once

just in case anyone was needing a better option :surfweb: :thumbsup2
