Hi,

we don't normally hire a car so its not somehing that I know very mch about. I was pricing some tickets on the UK disney site for comparing prices and found a like that Disney was now doing car hire through Almo for 2009.

Can someone look at this list and tell me that it includes all insurances etc that I need and isn't for american people as I know that we need more than them:

Car Hire in Florida - New for 2009!
Great car hire deals now available through Disney
Book now for 2009! Florida from £121 per week*
Disney has teamed up with Alamo Rent A Car, the official car hire company for Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, to offer you a superb range of car hire deals. Pick up and drop off from locations across Florida including two exclusive locations within Walt Disney World Resort.

All Car Rentals Include:
• Unlimited Mileage
• Collision Damage Waiver
• $1m Liability Coverage
• State/Local Surcharges
• State/Local Taxes
• Airport Fees

There are 7 of us so I was going to hire a 7 seater (we needed a car last time to go to port of Miami and got a Toyota Sienna and it was great) but am considering just getting a normal 4x4 and doing 2 runs if necessary? We'll only be off as far as Seaworld, Malls and local area for a few days. Am only going to get the car from the Disney Car Care place for the second week.

Last time we used US rent a car.

Any thoughts???

we get ours from usrentacar and we normally go for the gold package which includes everything and a full tank of fuel and extra drive. it may not be worth the money but we get it for ease.

I always make sure I have as much insurance as I can get so I know I should be safe

Just to add - on US Rent A Car the prices are:

4x4 7 seater - £179 /£213
minivan 7 seater - £191 / £225
minivan 8 seater - £225 / £259

Through Alamo 1 week (6 - 12 May) with normal/gold insurance and dropping off at MCO. Are these good? I would love another Toyota Sienna but I'm sure that we booked a 7 seater mini van last time and got it as an upgrade although I've no idea what class it would be in!
