Car hire comparison?

Hi folks

I seem to have accidentally left our car hire to the last minute (oops)! We need a car 9-18 Sept, either intermediate SUV or convertible, 2 drivers.

Which websites do you use to compare? I can't seem to find one where you can narrow the options and add an extra driver!

I have used www.usrentacar.co.uk in the past

USrentacar = £197.75 (gold, incl 2 drivers & tank of gas)

Alamo Brits = £166.61 2 drivers but no gas.

These look to be best around without spending loads of time searching. You might save a few £ using Quidco but don't see anything myself better than the 2 deals above.

If you took the USrentacar deal it would mean you are paying $51 for the tank of gas. Not sure what a tank holds on an inter SUV but would expect it to be more than $51 so that is probably the best deal.

Are you sure you got right dates? showing me cheapest (economy) is £122.94

You have left it a bit late for best deals, a while back you could have got 7 seater SUV for similar price (£180ish) to the intermediate when Hertz had their sale on. Although above prices are OK.

I think so, but weirdly the prices I just brought up were £30 more expensive than the deal you quoted. Very odd!
