Car hire at the Hard Rock

I have never driven at WDW (or in America) before but I am thinking of hiring a car for a minimum of one day to see how I get on. My question is can I arrange this at the Hard Rock? Do they have a car hire desk? Have you got any tips....I am dreading it, incase I forget to drive on the other side of the road.

I think it is Hertz who operates from the hotels.
Personally i would arrange with someone else. Last summer i was talking to them so i could price up if it would be better to hire the car when i needed it, they where quoting $100 approx for a day.
I waqs extremely nervous about driving when i went , but if you take it easy for the first couple of days you will be fine, and its so much easier having the car.

you would be better off booking via some of the UK websites like allstateshcarhire, yescarhire, or similar the price would be better than the HRH booking desk but still won't be that much dearer. Driving is pretty easy in the US, us Aussies drive backwards! as well and as long as you follow the traffic you should be ok, but not sure if it is worth all the hassle for a single day car hire.
