AT the moment we have an SUV booked, think its an uplander, there are only 2 adults and 2 kids travelling but we have 6 suitcases. I was thinking of changing to a full size, would this be big enough for all of us?

I think it would depend on the size of the cases. If they are all large ones then You would struggle. We are here and have a full size. A Chrysler 300. It is a very large boot but will only fit two large cases and two carry on cases.

You would struggle with 6 cases in a full size.
Thats the size we always order, last Easter there were 4 of us( 2 adults & 2 teens) we took 3 cases a large holdall, 3 laptops & a camera bag, only just got them in trunk of a Dodge Charger.
I would go larger or cut luggage.

Which rental co. Obi? never seen one of them. Don't think Dollar or Budget have them, always had a standard boot lid saloon except when we have been upgraded to premium or luxury models.

We used to use Samsonite hard cases however I was going to change to 1 samsonite and the rest roll soft type bags. We will have 2 back packs and trunkis too but the are very small :)

Can I just ask what you think of the trunkis, I have been thinking about these for our kids, they do one called "Harley" which is DS's name so that would be fun! :goodvibes

They are fantastic, DS has had one the past 3 trips and it has worked so well, keeps him so occupied at the airport. We have just bought Harley for DD for Christmas, bet your DS would be delighted there is one named after him :thumbsup2 Our DD is nearly 2 but although they are recommended for age 3 up DD had a few goes on DS trunki last trip with no problems.

I would say they are well worth the money

Some of the rental companies have, or at least had, two different kinds of vehicle in some categories.
For instance in 2006 we had a Chrylser Pacifica as full size, when there was also the option to choose a four door saloon - both in the same category but very different vehicles.

Pacifica is similar to the Traverse.

We had a full size last year after our cruise and only just managed to get all the luggage in, the was 4 adults and we had 4 suitcases and 2 backpacks..
