Car hire again

Hi all , another car hire question or two -if you take "platinum insurance" is there any other extras you would need or should I say they would try and talk you into ? I'm looking at us rent a car - any one had any experience with them ? not sure if they're a broker or an independent tbh , we will be sticking to mostly round about Orlando except for Busch gardens / Kennedy is a sat-nav worth getting ?

They'll always try and get you to upgrade to the next model of car - don't do it!
You don't need any more insurance and the tank of gas all depends on your circumstances, I usually take it because it's easy....

I love driving in the US but wouldn't contemplate it without a GPS.

Personally I wouldn't bother with the platinum - we have always had Gold. The gold covers all the insurances plus your extra drivers and a tank of fuel.

If you have Gold or better you do not need to pay anything locally.
