We were starving and happened to be at the Yacht Club and decided to give the Captains Grille a try and I do have to say for a lunch that was the best meal we have had at Disney in a long time. We have the shaved beef sandwich, the chicken sandwich, the fish and chips and the Burger. We did try the sea salt and vinegar fries with shallotte mayo and they were amazing.
It will be a restaurant that we will try to get to every trip. We did look at the dinner menu and it didnt sound as good as the lunch. So if you find yourself over at the Yacht club and hungry please give it a try.

We love their food as well. I have always thought it was one of the most underrated Disney restaurants. We stay at the Beach Club almost every trip and have dined at CG many times for breakfast, lunch and dinner-every meal is excellent.

We had a great meal here in March. It was also one of our most reasonably priced meals

We do dinner nearly every trip! LOVE the crab legs, and the rest of the fam loves the steaks!

We also think CG's is underrated! We have had fabulous meals there, and while we never stay in the Epcot area, we like to go over for a meal at CG's. One of our faves!

We have found it very hit and miss. Dinner was an absolute disaster one night (we had the feeling they wanted to close early), and then lunch later in the trip was fab!

Check out the Dis Podcast 7 in 7 from February this year for the Yacht Club. They absolutely SLATED the place!

Yes, we loved our breakfast there a few years ago -- low-key, and delicious -- we did both the buffet and ordered off the menu.

We had a fabulous dinner here last year. It was a last minute pick because it was pouring rain and we decided to leave the park and eat close to our resort. My MIL, DH, and I all agree it was one of the best meals we've ever had at Disney. Not sure why we don't hear more about this place.

Is the Grille a stickler for children over 9 not eating off the children's menu? My DD will be 11 and she is a very picky eater.

Glad i'm not the only one. We loved it and will be on our to do list every trip if possible.

I'm sure they would do whatever they could to make her happy.

My folks love this place. In fact, they just had lunch there today with my aunt and uncle before heading over to the Osborne Lights. I'm looking forward to dinner there in March.

We have done lunch the last 2 trips. Wish we had done it before on prior trips. We gotten the lobster sandwich with fries and the soup/sandwich platter. On our visits shrimp salad sandwich has been one of the options. So we share the sandwiches, fries and soup. There are a couple of other sandwiches that look good but as long as the lobster and shrimp options are there, it will be hard to choose something else.
