Captain's Grill from DHS

Just curious if anyone has done this and how it has worked out for you. I am considering changing my DHS day, but if I do that, it doesn't look like I'll be able to book the Fantasmic DP so I have made an ADR for 5pm at Captain's Grill for that night if I do end up switching. We are planning a FULL day at DHS for that day...arrive for 9am RD and stay til the 9pm Fantasmic. It looks like we can take a boat from DHS over to the Yacht Club, so I'm thinking that might be a nice break away from the park for a couple of hours before returning to DHS to maybe use some FP's and then see Fantasmic.

Without the FDP, we would have to arrive earlier for the show, but there is a second show that night so maybe it won't be too bad??

Thoughts/opinions??

We've used the DHS boat for dining at Cape May, Kouzzina, and Flying Fish. Very easy, but allow extra time to wait for the boat, it's not always right there. Allowing 45 minutes usually works for us when leaving DHS, though it's much faster if a boat is right there.

Never waited very long for a boat to take us back after dinner.
