Captain's Gala Dinner

Hiya!

I just read on another thread that the night that I chose for my Palo dinner is the Captain's Gala Dinner. Should I change my Palo to another night?

(I don't really like lobster (crazy, I know) but DH LOVES it and was wondering is this what I would miss? Also, is the alcohol free at the Captain's Gala? We would miss the free drinks, too if that was the case!

Could someone help me out and let me know? Thanks!

someone correct me if i am wrong but i believe you can also have the lobster at Palo's for the captains gala- or surf & turf

Does anyone else know if this is true? Could you have lobster at Palo's any night w/o it being Captain's Gala?

Also is the alcohol free that night?

Yes, you can order lobster in Palo if it is Captain's Gala night. I don't know if you can get lobster there any other night though. Alcohol is not free any time other than the "small" drinks served in the atrium. HTH

We just returned on Saturday. The do serve the lobster tail at the Captains Gala, I'm not sure if it is available at Palo's that night or not. They do have free adult beverages in the atrium before dinner. The served Mai Tai's, Cosmopolitans and Shirlet Temples for the kids.

You can order lobster at Palos on the night of the Captain's Gala Dinner. The free drinks are served in the lobby area, not in the actual restaurant so you can enjoy that no matter where you have dinner (as long as you stop by the lobby area).
