If there's a movie premiere, it's typically shown at midnight the night it opens on land. So, if you cruise debarks on the 8th, it won't be shown. If your cruise debarks on the 9th, it's gonna be a late night....What's the likelihood DCL will show Captain Marvel on the March 3-8, 2018 cruise? Movie premiere on March 8th? Past experiences with Black Panther & Avengers this year? TIA!
Though, they may do a midnight showing on the 7th
That would be the midnight that changes the date from the 7th to the 8th.Though, they may do a midnight showing on the 7th
They might show it a day early. When I was on the Dream the new Star Wars movie was coming out that Friday (the day we disembarked) and I was worried they'd show the movie at midnight on the last night. They ended up showing it twice, once at 7pm and again at 10pm so people could still do dinner and then make the show (they moved the dining times up a little bit to accommodate) It was great getting to see it at a normal hour before it technically premiered on land.
Do you by any chance have access to a flux capacitor? What's the likelihood DCL will show Captain Marvel on the March 3-8, 2018 cruise? Movie premiere on March 8th? Past experiences with Black Panther & Avengers this year? TIA!

We're on the 3/2-3/9 Fantasy cruise next year - I imagine the movie would be shown on 3/8 for sure if not 3/7. Many movies are releasing on Thursdays now (as did Solo), so could be the 7th late.
Even our local theatres have been releasing movies the night before the actual release date....if a movie is supposed to come out lets say on a Friday, on Thursday night at 7:00 pm they usually have a showing.
OP I think you will be able to see Captain Marvel on your cruise.
