We are visiting WDW in Sept. My daughters loved meeting Captain Jack on our cruise. Is there anywhere to meet Captain Jack and take a pic with him in WDW?? I know there is pirate training throughout the day, but can you take a pic with Jack??? Kindest thanks for your help!

We have awesome Memory Maker photos of DS with Captain Jack from the pirate tutorial. I do not think there is a separate meet and greet, but I would definitely recommend trying to get your daughters into the pirate tutorial!

We have met him at the parties, I don't recall seeing him anywhere else for the usual meet and greet.

What is the pirate tutorial? Target age group? DD recently discovered Pirates of the Caribbean and is now a big fan!

Other than the Halloween party the only other place to see him is at the Pirate Tutorial. They choose 4 kids to participate in the show and be a part of Captain Jack's crew. And lots of pictures are taken. At the end they invite more people to come on stage and take the pirate oath but pics will be mostly of the group and not necessarily include Captain Jack himself.

Hi! Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Tutorial takes place in the Magic Kingdom - Adventureland. If you look on the WDW website you can find show times, pics and lots of info. It is for all ages. Enjoy!

Thanks! It wasn't on our radar last trip, and now that DD is turning 13, Jedi training is behind us and I thought we might have finally collected all the pix/autographs she'd want. I'm glad to have more to look forward to!

Dis703 already mostly answered this, but if you google "Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Tutorial" you will find the official Disney page with all the official information. I don't know if this is typical or not but, when my son participated (this was in May 2014, so a while ago), the Memory Maker photographer got LOTS of pictures of DS and Jack Sparrow, including about 4 really awesome close-ups of just DS and Jack Sparrow "in character."

FWIW They usually seem to pick younger participants but when they invite more people at the end they will invite kids and adults. But there are no autographs or posed pics.

Thank you! Good to know - - MM has become a must for me now, so no one complains about me always wanting to stop to take pix (and so I can relax and enjoy the shows)!

I would say, from when we've watched it, most of the kids chosen to participate are between the ages of 3-8. But it's a lot of fun to watch for all ages.

If she loves the movies - have you considered The Pirates League?
I've followed your link and put A Pirates Adventure on my wish list. I think if we were going tomorrow, she would definitely want to participate! So I'll follow up with her when we're close to the 180-day mark. Thank you for all your help!
