Captain EO

thanks for the website but i was wondering if you knew whether or not you get a fastpass when you find the key because i read somewhere that you get one and i have tried to find a forum about it but this isnt one

The Muppets doesn't offer fastpasses...
And it's not like you need a fastpass for the Muppets.

Just saw it last month, we were underwhelmed. Kinda like a mini combo of Star Wars and Thriller, but with none of the excitement of either.:confused3

Go Yankees, Go!

Oh wow! My mom and sister saw HISTA and said they wouldn't go back again because they said it was scary. I wonder now if I should even bother if you say its that bad. What about the other two 4D shows Mickey's PhilHar Magic and It's Tough to Be a Bug, I saw those and where do they rank with these two?

In my order:
1. MICKEY'S PHILHARMAGIC
2. Muppets
3. HISTA
4. It's tough to be a bug (I haven't been on this in a while though. I don't like bugs)

I'm totally disappointed with Captain EO replacing HISTA. :sad1: I wasn't a big fan of that attraction, but I'd rather that than Captain EO. I am not a MJ fan.

I saw Captain EO in Disneyland in March and thought it was funny to see all of the old 80's dance moves. Definatly think it is worth seeing, with it not being up for very much longer

I read somewhere that it will be up until next year sometime? I can't remember where I read it now, I'll see if I can find it...

I have been showing my kids the attractions on You Tube to prepare them for our trip. I just got to Epcot. What a disappointment. They were really looking forward to HISTA. Is Captain Eo likely to appeal to preschool and/or elementary aged children? Thanks

DW and I really enjoyed Captain EO. But then we are the same age as MJ, and grew up with him. I thought the show was a lot better than when we saw in back in the mid 90's. I loved the retro 80's look and the music vibe.

I also liked HISTA but that was getting rather dated.

Captain EO is the best 3d thing I have ever seen. Probably because I love MJ but it was actually really cool effects and stuff.

I really dug Captain E.O. It is pretty hilarious to see all the sick 80's dance moves. I didn't like HISTA very much. I love Captain EO!!!

Ok- so I'm fine with MJ, but I've never really listened to his music or anything. I saw it at Disneyland and can truthfully say I went into that theatre without any negative thoughts.

All I could think that whole time was "This is the weirdest, most random, most thrown together Disney attraction I've experienced in my life." I don't understand the characters... yeah, it was made a long time ago, but those were some weird alien creatures. I mean... it was just non-Disney to me.

No one in my family liked it, not even my mom who is a big MJ fan. A couple people didn't like the bouncing up and down thing that happened throughout the entire show basically.

Well... if you're a MJ fan I suppose you'll like it if you don't mind that the entire story is pretty ridiculous. I think they could have come up with a better story. I could come up with a better story. (I really hate saying anything negative about Disney so this is practically killing me, but it had to be said).
