Captain EO pin

Anyone know the value of a Captain EO pin. It was given out to people when Captain EO premiered at Journey into Imagination. I happen to find it in my jewelry box and was wondering about it. Nothing on ebay so i'm just throwing it in my pin bag.

The only Captain EO pin I recall seeing was a DL circular pin for the 35th anniversary of DL. It had the elephant-like character. (Was it's name hooter?)

is one of a number that were released...i think my DH Raul has the whole set, so he would know...he
made it a point to collect them because the initials are the same as his EO...I will show him this post and he can let
you know where and how he got his, and what it cost him....

I don't know if he has that one...probably does, but I'm not sure...

Boy is it me or do you people see the weird coincidences here.

I have Captain EO pins, and my wife's name is Donna.

Now Donna has Captain EO pins. Weird huh.

How valuable they are depends on who you ask, to me they were valuable because my initials are EO, the Japanese still love the ride, and adore Michel Jackson... why they even still wear white sequenced gloves. I had an extra WDW Captain EO and a Tokyo trader offered me anything in his book for it because he had to have it.

As to most they collect it for various reasons, 1 it's a retired ride, 2 they like Michel Jackson, 3 their name is Ed Otero.

But to be honest I got my Captain EO pins on Ebay the most I paid was $5.00 for a set of the 3 rounds ones and $12.00 for the two Kodak Captain EO pins, the hooter pin was a gift from my son-in-law.

LOL, ok, my particular pin is either the first or last one in your picture. hard to see, but it looks like either of those pictures. I have a set actually, both identical. We were invited (won) to the premier of captain Eo - yikes - back in 1987 and this is the pin they gave out there. I guess i'll hang on to it!
