I like the pulled pork sandwich (can't recall the official name). VERY good-- one of the best CS meals I've had at WDW. Their goodness has made a substantial contribution to my thighs.
For the Dole Whip, I just go back and get it. Not going to get back in line when I've already paid. Never had an issue.
Last year we traveled from MK to eat here. We got the QS for the first time and wanted to try a variety. It was a great meal. We enjoyed it very much and took a little walk along the beach before heading back to MK. I don't think you will regret this meal!
The pepperoni flatbread was yummy, and DD said that the grilled cheese was great (though she didn't like the chips).
Also, they have a bakery selection that you can choose from (counted as dessert on DDP). Hubby got a brownie, DD got a cookie and both LOVED them (I don't remember what I got...)
My family has enjoyed the Grown-Up Grilled Cheese and their Burgers.
Their homemade chips (made from a variety of potatoes and wontons) are awesome too!
I was so dissapointed in the grilled cheese, I think it was a off day tho, I hear such great things about it. It has several different cheeses and one of them is boursin which I love but it was ice cold while the rest of the cheese were nice and melty.. It was not a nice texture...lol
I wish I would have gotten the pulled pork, I will this sept
Whatever you order, make sure it comes with the homemade potato chips. They're delicious and a vast improvement over the typical counter-service frozen french fries. The stir-fried noodles are another nice option if you want something a bit more substantial than a sandwich.
As for the Dole Whips, you just go to the machine and get your dessert when you're ready. Nobody should give you a hard time, but I suppose it makes sense to keep your receipt handy in case.
Aloha Pork Sandwich is Soooooo good!!! Yes, you can go back for your Dole Whip (or any other ice cream), just bring your receipt back with you. As an above poster mentioned, fairly large bakery selection and the Chocolate Chip Croissant is to die for!!
