We will likely be eating at Captain Cook's one or two mornings during our Poly stay. I've even thought that I might run down and pick up meals for us and take them back to the room.

Anybody have any opinions on the quality of food here? I know its pretty simple stuff but I've eaten some pretty bad bacon and eggs in my life!

Thanks :flower:

We went a couple of mornings last week & the egg sandwich & platters were surprisingly good. They also asked if we wanted a mickey waffle instead of the biscuit with the platter which the kids enjoyed.

I am planning on us eating here as well...anyone know how early they open? Hopefully on check out day we can swing in there early and then head off to Post Canaveral!!

If I'm not mistaken, it is open 24 hours.

Yes it is ::yes:: Breakfast is served 6:30-10:30am

Thanks for the responses. We will be definately trying it out one morning :flower:

We have found Capt Cooks to be the one place where the Poly is lacking.

DH loves breakfast and can eat anything however he ended up throwing out his breakfast sandwich it was so bad. He then ordered hash browns and that took forever. He was so aggravated by then that he hardly ate any. The donuts and pasteries are very good though.

My kids are limited to what they eat, but they will eat hotdogs, any way shape or form. Even they complained about the hotdogs here. The fries also tasted as though they were frozen but not fully cooked.

They may have gotten better though since it has been a little over a year since our last visit there. Hope so! :)

We actually enjoyed Captain Cooks. My son loved the lil kahuna platter. The eggs were very good. I actually liked it better then Kona's for breakfast.
