I think I already know who your husband is! Funny how crew talk about almost anything when they are together. Actually, I believe there are 2 other pilots and at least 1 senior that I know of that frequents these boards...

But the 2 other pilots don't fly the 75s...

Is your husband sorry to see the 300s go? I need to follow-up with this by adding that the 300s were a planned fleet change, and not related to the current state of Chapter 11...

Hope the pay cut doesn't hurt your finances too much...

PS: I think I'm flying with your husband in November...

Maybe you have confused with someone else. Dh is not due for a check ride and I have never been to an ATA company picnic.

the 300s were a planned fleet change, and not related to the current state of Chapter 11...

if this is true, why would the only plane that has been retrofitted with business class, that we've flown on been a 753?

and why would an airline keep the less fuel efficent plane the 752?

I wish your love of Disney could rub off on DH. He enjoys it but thinks its ridiculous I am so interested in Disney. I have to become an avid wrestling fan in order for him to enjoy Disney!.

Nevertheless, he says Hello and good luck with everything that is going on with ATA. Did you catch what CNN said about ATA and SW last night?

You at least gave dh a good scare with the whole check ride thing though!

Major laughs about the scare of a check ride!!! I do that all the time; one day someone is going to go-off on me!!! But until then, I enjoy the turmoil it causes.

I am glad you've become a wrestling fan!! Wrestling is good!! Its good to have common interests wit yo' hubby!!

I didn't hear about SW and ATA on CNN last night!!! WHAT DID THEY SAY???

Yes, I love Disney!!! Always have; always will!! I even applied for a position flying their corporate jets, but didn't have enough time in type at the time (going back about 8 years). They have a fleet of about 14 Lears...
