Finally found my note book
Day 10 - May 15th..
Breakfast was eaten at the room today,seems to be bit of a habit now!Much to my dismay!!
I was really eager to get to AK today as this was the day i got to go to the rainforest cafe!!!!(food....again!!)& Ride everest!!!!
So we got there for about 10am,after having a little bit of a lie in!<Naughty smiley here...>The turnstiles were empty just went straight threw,which was great!
The main plan for this park today was to go straigh to the forbidden mountain
So it was a rush threw dinoland USA and head onto Asia,my favourite part of the park!
The stand by que for everest was 50 minutes,so we said sod that and got a fast pass.To make the time fly we zoomed across the park to Kilamanjaro safari,even tho it was a 45 minute wait,we still waited!
Well worth the wait though!Just how i rememberd from last year.
By the time we had ques up,and ridden the ride the everest fastpass's were ready to be used,but as we could now get more fastpasses we got some more before we rode the ride so we could go more or less straight back on!
Well i went on it....what can i say? apart from it being the best thing i've ever been on in my entire life!!!!
Thus coming from the prince of rollercoaster phobias....best ride ever!!!
so hopefully all you rollercoaster haters will go on it!!
Now..we had ridden it twice,it was now 11.30,so i said right ...it's dinner time!!!hehe(boss)
We go out the rainforest cafe turnstile...and walk in,they take our name and say about 10minutes!...the clock ticked by..while we admired the fishys! probably took about 15mins before the table was ready,considering we had no ADR we got in good.It was very busy!
I was so hungry by this time...(my bottomless pit had gobbled up brekkie good style)
I was feeling very adventures so i ordered the plant sandwich.
30minutes later this humungus thing was sat infront of me!
Two giant cobs of bread filled with Giant mushrooms,spinach,red pepper's and ceaser dressing served with a side of fries...me the boy with not stomach couldnt even it all!
Definetly recomend it to anyone!!!
We were in there quite a while(the service was quite slow..but wouldnt moan about it)
The temperature when we come out of there was unbearable!!I was wilting!Yik!
So we headed back to the hotel for a much needed cool off in the swimming pool!
I left the others swimming while i went back up to the hotel room to go online!(lol)
Bloomin psp almost went out of the hotel window many times!
The whole afternoon was spent on the hotel complex,my kind of afternoon!lol
Tea time flew around and it was to be Burger king...the one near our hotel(like 700yrds away) was the one we used.
I had the veggie burger and fries,but i hate them vegetable kind burgers,so i took the patty off and just ate the bun!The meal was ok,but i would have to say it was the worst of the holiday!!!
After that we hopped in the chrysler and went to MK just for Wishes and Spectro Magic.
We watched Spectro,it was wicked,and the castle's multi coloured personality was amazing!
A Mutual decision was made not to watch Wishes but to instead go back to the hotel.This was decided because we didnt fancy getting in the mad rush for the park exit,like we did last year!!!
We watched Wishes from the ferryboat that took us to the transportation centre.
Not a very action packed day i know but i achieved something i never thought i would and that was to meet the yeti!
