Who else loves them?:) I need to find one of their cd's.:) I love their music (yep, I'm one of those that loves Muskrat Love;), but Shop Around is a fun song to listen too, too, and some of their other songs, too).

I love two of their songs. Chalk me up as another Muskrat Love fan. :teeth: I absolutley love that song. I also really love, Do That to me One More Time. :) The rest I can't stand. LOL! :teeth:

I loved them when I was a little girl. I remember the day that I had saved up enough allowance to buy the Love Will Keep Us Together album. I was about 7 or 8 years old. I played it constantly. It was the first album I had ever bought. :D

Tina, I used to listen to them on 8 track.:teeth: I used to shut myself up in the spare room we had and listen to that 8 track over and over again.:)

Maggie, I love that song too. Listening to it once is never enough.;)

I always thought they were good.

8 track, Shannon? I didn't think you were that old!

LOL! I know I sometimes act younger than what I am:o, George, but I'm 33 yo.:teeth: When I was a little girl, 8 tracks were the thing to have.:teeth: My mom still has tons of 8 track tapes that we can't listen to.:teeth:

Although they bring back good memories and I enjoy most of their music Muskrat Love ranks in my top 5 of all time songs I hate. Right up there with "I shot the sheriff" and "50 ways to leave your lover".

33 years old and you remember 8 tracks?

I'm coming up on 57 and I kinda skipped 8 tracks and went straight to cassettes. I didn't like the way the 8 tracks changed tracks in the middle of a song.

I do remember having 78's when I was little. Just a few weeks ago I was trying to explain to my SIL (25) what 45's were! I remember 33 LP's (long playing) were "high tech," especially when they came out in stereo.

Now that I think about it, I remember way too much... time for a nap.

LOL! George I have a very good memory.;) We had several cars/trucks with 8 tracks in them. I liked the 8 tracks. It was a very simple concept.:) I remember being hesitant about that new fangled compact disc thing they talked about on the news, too.:teeth: It's fun to ask my kids what a record is.;)

I still have some 78's, some 45's, and some 33 (and 1/3;) )'s.:) I have a workable turntable at my mom's, but I'd rather it stayed there. Who knows, maybe my great-great-great grandkids will get a kick out of it someday.:teeth:

Beccy, I like that song too. I think I'm gonna have to find me a greatest hits cd.:)

i like love will keep us together too . As a matter of fact, it was on the radio this morning while I was sitting in the car & DH was cleaning off the car (snow). Turned it high.

I'm 32 and I had 8 tracks as well... Donnie and Marie, and Captain and Tenille...

Back in the day, my uncle who was in the Navy then... looked like Captain...

I used to like Captain & Tennille too when I was in high school, but I liked the Carpenters even better. I remember 8 tracks, I always hated it when it changed tracks right in the middle of a song too. I was glad when cassettes took over. We probably still have some 8-tracks upstairs somewhere....

I like "Do that to me one more time" My Mother had the album with them holding their 2 bulldogs on the cover. She also had Tony Orlando and Dawn.... I loved "Knock 3 Times" and "Tie a yellow ribbon" she had Helen Reddy's "I am Woman" for the 8 track we had in the red Mustang she owned.

I'm 33, and I too had C&T on 8 track. As well as Donny and Marie and Helen Reddy LOL. I have since bought Helen on CD, now I think I'll have to hunt down some Captain and Tennille too! I am sitting in front of my computer singing now LOL.

But, I had albums, I had a few 8 Tracks, but, never really like the "sound.":o Shannon: Did you know Tennille was VERY tall, and had Back trouble due to her height? I believe she was about 6'2" or something like that, this is why she ALWAYS sat down when she performed!

I can take them or leave them. David Cassidy will be in South Florida this coming weekend. Does he need money?
