As of April they still were.

I saw somewhere that Captain Cook's Tonga Toast does not come with the strawberry compote. Is that correct? That would make it a tough decision on whether to try it with regular syrup or take the extra time and tip $ to go to Kona.

Mary that is correct, at Capt. Cook's it does not come with the strawberry syrup. Also, at Kona I believe it also comes with either bacon or sausage. At Capt. Cook's it is strictly the Tonga Toast and regular syrup. If the strawberry sauce is a sticking point then definitely go to Kona.

We choose to go to Capt Cooks for Tonga Toast b/c of the time and $ we use the DDP and choose to pay cheapest meal OOP which is breakfast. Tonga Toast is very sweet so I just add a very small amount of sugar free syrup to keep it from being dry. It is cheaper at Capt Cooks and you have the option of adding a side of breakfast meat if you want.

I do wish they would add the pinnaple/macadamia pancakes to Capt Cooks so I can try them..Or atleast add them to the room service menu..I plan on asking room service if I can get them when we order room service on our anniversary and let everyone know if I was successful..
