Can I get the twin lob. tails at CAP'N JACK'S RESTAURANT on the dinning plan ... I have heard that some items are "off limits" on the plan and this is the most expensive item but it is the only one I want on the menu ...
I just do not want any "surprizes" when its time to order ...
Thanks

Bronte,
I don't mean to be negative, but this restaurant had some of the worst that we have had anywhere. If you have eaten here before and enjoyed it, I apologize, but when we went there on our last trip, we were appalled. My advice: go somewhere else and use your dining credits at a better place.

Sorry if I have offended you.... :flower3:

When we ate there last October, I don't recall there being any restrictions on their menu. In fact, the server encouraged my DH to add the Lobster Tail to his steak entree even though we told her neither of us really cared for lobster. She said we might as well try it since it was included in the DP. So, we did, but we didn't eat it. Hope this helps. :thumbsup2

Wow .. really ... not good food ...
Thanks for the heads up we have never eaten there before ...
What would you sugest ... we will be on the dinning plan (6 adults)
We want one seafood dinner, one ethnic dinner and one traditional dinner. We do not want any buffets.
Our choices were going to be CAP'N JACK'S RESTAURANT for seafood (esp. lobster), the MARRAKESH RESTAURANT for ethnic food (esp. lamb) and Tonys (esp. steak and veal.)
Any advice would be great ... we are not pickey eaters but this is our vacation and I want everyone to have a good time.

We ate there in Aug and DH had the twin lobster tail on the dining plan. I added a tail to mine, tried it didn't like it and DH ate the rest of it.

Per DH, the tails were a bit on the small side, but by the time he was done with the crab cake app, 2.5 lobster tails w/bake potato, and key lime pie....he was stuffed.

I had read several postings stating to stay away, the food is horrid, service is the worst.....but I took it with a gain of salt, everybody has a different opinion. We enjoyed ourselfs and would not hesitate to go back for dinner again.

We always enjoy Cap'n Jack's. Food and service has always been delightful. It's a casual setting and we usually stop in for lunch, but went for dinner last November. The New England Clam Chowder has long been a favorite, along with the Strawberry Margaritas. Also, the Crab Cakes and Barbecued Ribs were quite good. I love the atmosphere of looking out at Lake Buena Vista and Pleasure Island in the way the restaurant is situated over the water.

The Coral Reef in Epcot is now a one credit restaurant. If you're looking for seafood you may want to give them a try. (Althought this restaurant is heavily debated on the pros and cons.) Our fav seafood was in the Teppanyaki restaurant in Japan. Our app was seafood and then the entree was lobster, scallops, and shrimp. Yum!!

We have been there a few times the food has been good.
