Cap'n Jacks for lunch?

We usually don't have lunch at WDW, except on arrival day, when we have to wait for check-in. Have been recently to HOB, Wolfgangs and Bongos , so was wondering how Captain Jacks would be for lunch. Mostly interested in regular lunch fare--burgers, etc, and maybe a beer or glass of wine.
Appreciate any help!!

I don't think you can get a burger at Capt. Jacks but you can get a roast beef or chicken sandwich. Seafood is specialty and it is not bad! Beer and wine is available.

we were very disappointed when we ate lunch at cap'n jacks. the service was extremely slow, although the restaurant was not crowded. and even for wdw the food was overpriced for what you got. you did not say where you are saying, but olivia's at okw is an excellent choice. maybe a return trip there might be an alternative to downtown disney. happu eating!

Well I had a great lunch at Cap n'Jacks recently and would recommend. When I was there it was December san everyone seemed to be getting their food in a timely manner.

Stuff on the lunch menu included :

Smoked BBQ Pork Ribs
Roast Beef Sandwich
Chicken or Shrimp Caesar Salad
Chicken sandwich
Crab Cakes

Linguine with peas, crab and shrimp (I had this it was very tasty)


Their soups and chowders looked and smelt pretty fine to me as well.

I didn't have the wine but I did have the Margarita - it was good

We went to Capt Jacks last xmas for lunch. We were surprised at how good it was. We had this great fish sandwich. Will be visiting again.

We ate there in 2001 (I think?) and I had a very tasty crab cake sandwich (if I'm remembering correctly). I would go back, at least I had no bad impression
