Capn Jack Beach Brunch

Ok, ladies just brainstorming here. I wanted a welcome brunch Mad Hatter Style for our VR. Hubby does not. He wants a nicer Welcome dinner at Fultons (we ate there on our original wedding night). I understand why he would want to go there, he wants a good impression for our guests. I am bummed but he just doesn't get the whole mad hatter idea. Anyway, We have agreed on a Welcome Dinner at Fultons Crabhouse, Reception the day of the VR somewhere in Epcot, and a farewell brunch the following morning hopefully at the F Summerhouse.
Tell me what you think of this:
We LOVE POTC and Capn Jack. We.have only seen him in character on DCL though. I think it would be cool to have a beachy brunch and have capn jack make an appearance. How cool would that be?..We could have pirate stuff as favors and dh says a signature rum runner drink. Any ideas???

That sounds like such a fun idea I am sure Disney can create so many unique pirate touches! I bet they could even make a cake a treasure chest, not that you'd want a cake at your day after brunch, but you never know Good luck and keep us posted!

There is always room for more cake! a pirate cake would be cool. My dh wants to know if they have any pirate props we could rent. Like tattered material for table cloths and treasure chests. I'm getting excited and I have another 2 years till I can book

Wow that sounds like a really great idea. And the whole pirate and princess party is in so that is great.... Try giving out some one eye patches and some little chests with some gold coins in them... Good luck I would love to see pictures...
