Cape May

Breakfast was great. Dinner not so great. Food was cold, had to wait for refills. Not worth the price

We've got a dinner reservation and we've been looking forward to it, since it's a good menu for us, we like family style, and I've seen some good reviews. We don't care about the crab legs (my DH won't touch them, and while DS and I would eat a few, it's not a giant draw), but I think their lack has disappointed a lot of people. I'm crossing my fingers, but we're not going to cancel. It does sound like we should be proactive about soliciting seconds, but we often end up with a large first round since most of the things my husband will eat will not be eaten if they've been touching such exotic forbidden foods as mashed potato, so we need some things brought out separately anyway.

I'm sure they're understaffed, and I'm definitely on board with minimizing food waste, but if they'd like their table back, they will bring us enough.

For any who have been in the "before times" and again recently ... is the seafood smell still prevalent throughout the hallways at dinner?

back in 2016 whenI first visited BC and dined at Cape May Cafe, I noticed the seafood smell.
However, I didn’t smell much of it this time around and I have gone through that lobby in and out a couple times during the past week and I did no notice the smell at all!

My family had dinner there on 7/5. Our ADR was at 5:30pm. We ordered a pound of snow crab legs. The food taste good. I won’t complain. Our server kept checking on us and offered to bring more food. I didn’t notice it at the time and just now realized that we didn’t get the vegetarian dishes which my family would probably also enjoyed.
