Cape May

Hello Everyone!

Is it worth the trouble to try and get over to Cape May for breakfast from WL? I'm trying to figure out how we would get there in general. I can always switch to Whispering Canyon but wanted to get an overall opinion first.

No.

I like Cape May just fine, have eaten there numerous times, and routinely go back. That being said, I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there. If we are staying at one of the Epcot area resorts, it's a nice option- but I wouldn't leave Epcot to eat there when there are so many awesome options in the WS. And I wouldn't deal with the hassle of getting there via alternate means.

Cape May has a very nice character breakfast and if you are looking for a relaxing breakfast with good food, and you plan to head to Epcot or HS after breakfast, then this would be a nice place to eat. But I would take a cab to get there.

If you are just looking for a really good breakfast then there are two good options to try from the WL. One is the breakfast buffet at Trail's End. This is our favorite breakfast and we like to eat there when we stay at WL. We like to walk to FW but you can also take the boat there.

Another delicious breakfast buffet is at the Wave in the Contemporary. You can take the boat there, which is the closest and nicest way to get there.

But if you just want breakfast, then Whispering Canyon Cafe is good.

Cape May has great character interactions. We got some really great photos and made fun memories. That's the reason to make the trek, which may not be so bad if you're already going to Epcot that day. If you just want a good breakfast, go elsewhere.

We really liked Cape May breakfast when we ate there but we love Whispering Canyon! If you really want the character experience it would be a good experience but I think Whispering Canyon is great too!

We like the breakfast there. The best way to go would be a cab or Uber right to the resort. I would do Epcot or Hollywood Studios afterwards since you right by both

Breakfast is generally good and the characters are great however, I am not sure I would make a special trip over there given where you are staying. If you don't care about characters and just want a good breakfast head over to the Wave at CR. The price is good and they offer a buffet. Plus then you can walk over to MK.

Agree with the others, it's good, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

We have eaten there when we are staying in one of the Epcot resorts.
