Hey Everyone -

I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what my chances are in getting a reservation for 13 people at Cape May for dinner. There are 2 families and we have both been trying and as of right now there isn't anything. We even tried splitting the number up but no luck.

I don't want to waste my time trying if this really isn't a possibility. Neither od us have ever been there so we are unfamiliar with the layout of the seating area there.

Thanks for your help! KIM

When are you trying for? If it is around the 180 day mark, you should have success. If it is close to your trip, they may be completely booked.
Cancellations do occur all the time. People report success at getting last minute reservations for previously booked restaurants.
Although, if it is close, it is not likely, if it is worth it to you, keep trying.

Keep trying.I will say that Cape May dinner is NOT as easy as it used to be to get , it is one of the only 1 TS dining places with crab legs so it makes it popular.Plus it is only open for breakfast and dinner( which starts at 5pm)It is not an overly huge place either.

We went with 12 and had a huge round table in the second room that had plenty of room for us and possibly even 2-4 more people. Hopefully you will easily be able to get an ADR. They told us we may be split up when I made the ADR but we weren't. :)

We did 11 at a long rectangle table there in the corner. So they can definitely seat larger parties together.
