I've heard good things about both-and I know they're completely different-but we're still hedging on our last ADR. We've narrowed it down to these too and I'm leaning towards Cape May and DH is leaning towards Maya Grill. I wish I was more decisive....ha!

Believe it or not, in the seven times we've stayed at the CSR, we've only done Maya Grill for breakfast. We've put dinner on the list for this September after the great reviews we've read lately. We've done Cape May twice--first time we loved it; second time we found it only so-so.

I love the atmosphere at Maya Grill - it's not terribly popular, so it's generally pretty quiet and relaxed. On a recent visit, the service was very good, but the food was only so-so (which is disappointing, because it used to be so much better).

I've never eaten at Cape May for dinner, so I can't speak for the food. But, we were passing through the BC lobby on our trip a few weeks back and Cape May was a zoo! I could see that there were long lines for the buffet and even in the lobby it was very loud. That's not a reason not to go there, but you need to be prepared for that kind of atmosphere.

Absolutely Cape May! You'll have a better experience, in my opinion. I haven't ever been impressed with Maya Grill, but Cape May is a lot of fun. Try to get an ADR later in the evening to avoid the crowds.

We really liked the Maya Grill and have eaten there 3 times for dinner. Food was good and theming was great. Can't comment on Cape May, as a general rule we avoid buffets.

I'm really diggin on the steamed seafood, but we're already doing 2 buffets so that's a good point. I guess this way we can go straight from AK-MG and have an early night....jet lag is going to ruin us.
