We have decided to try something different this year and go to Cape May. How is the food and are there other non-seafood offerings for those non-seafood lovers?

Thank you

We went in May 2017 and it was awesome! I really enjoyed all the offerings especially crab legs. My younger brother not only doesn’t eat seafood he’s also very particular about any food he eats and he was a huge fan of the non seafood offerings

Other than Boma it is the one buffet at WDW we have done multiple times.

We love Cape May Dinner Buffet!! DD's favorite.

There are lots of other options besides the crab legs. Soups, salads and kids options.

We used to love it and considered it a must do, however we went a couple of weeks ago, and found the seafood pretty good, and the nonseafood bland and not great.

We were gonna go here a second time, but switched to Boma (AKL) again. The food is fine, but the service was just awful. Not one dish was taken the entire time, and we did not get drinks until we asked several people.

Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend it.

We went for the first time in June and thought it was excellent. I'm not a huge buffet fan but I would happily return to this one.

Food was fresh, flavorful and constantly replenished and we had excellent service. Drinks stayed refilled, plates were cleared each time we got up, etc. They seemed to have a team helping clear dishes because several other waitstaff would grab ours on the way by if they saw it.

I also appreciated that the buffet was easy to access without long lines. I think it's partially because of how it's set-up as a square with desserts separate instead of one big line.

I think it is "okay." We liked it but did not love it, but I think that is due to our fresh seafood here in New England. The food was fresh and plentiful, and there was no long lines anywhere. The staff was attentive.

Cape May Cafe is a family favorite! We are seafood lovers!! I think there's a lot of non-seafood choices as well!!

Not good. Food is pretty much Golden Corral quality. Crab legs were small and cold, the rest of the seafood was poorly prepared, and the non-seafood people in our group couldn't find anything they liked. We won't go back.

Cape May Cafe was a always a must do for our family. So much so that we scheduled 2 ADR’s for our last trip (April 2018). But I won’t be back. I hardly ate a thing the last time we were there. My daughter, who LOVES buffets, had a hard time finding non seafood items. But...my husband still enjoyed himself. For the most part he just eats clams, soup & salad. We did not go back for our second ADR.

We have eaten there three times. We love it!

It used to be our favorite but our visit in July was terrible, and I do not expect much from buffets. Service was virtually non-existent, food was markedly different/worse in quality than in the past. We will not go back.

We always do one night at Cape May (unless I we do breakfast there instead!). We love it there. Food and service always great.

It’s amazing. Tried it for the first time last year and definitely plan to go back. My DS9 loves it to and made a point to ensure we hit it up no matter where we stay next year. He’s a big seafood eater though. I know though along with the great taste of the food the choices were endless all around.

We are there in July for the first time and eh, it was ok. Our server was fantastic but it reminds me of a Chinese buffet we have back home where everyone swoops on the crab legs like they are made of gold. I made an ADR for our Christmas trip and he didn't want to go back. I changed it to a breakfast ADD instead since we are staying at BC.

Cape May for dinner oddly enough is one of my dream reservations. All you can eat crab legs? Yes please!!:love: The only thing stopping me is that my best friend who I travel with is allergic to shellfish and the thought of the cross contamination at a buffet just isn’t worth the risk. But I’m still dreaming of it!

Cape May is a family favorite for us and we have one that doesn't eat any seafood. As long as they have the King crab legs we'll keep going back!

We love Cape May, it is one of the few restaurants all 4 in my family can agree on! I don't eat many crab legs, and I am able to find lots of other choices. Its so good, we typically eat there twice on a longer trip!
