Cape May--Feedback please

We are seafood lovers however are not expecting the best quality while at Disney. With that said, please give feedback if it is worth going. We will be on the DDP and not paying OOP. Any pictures would be great! Also, we will have our 2 year old with us. Is the atmosphere one you can bring a small child that at times can get a little "whiny"!

Cape May is a great place for everyone, children included. I love there food, and the buffet helps allow for kids that need to get up and walk around. Also sometimes they have a decorate your own desert section which is always fun for kids. Being from MI we don't really have the best seafood but I find this food to be really tasty

I went to Cape may once... and that was my last time going! I live in south florida and we have fresh fish all the time but I have noticed when I travel I need to eat fresh fish. at cape may's I found that the fish was not like fresh and I have a very bad stomach reflex with old fish in which if it smells or tastes wierd my body will not let me eat it and that is how cape may's is for me! I ended up leaving because I couldn't stand the smell. my Fiance which she is more succeptible to eating fish she didn't like it either.

I have one piece of real advice! you can ask for other's opinions but you wont know until you try it. so don't be bummed out by my comment because I have friends that have loved it but they have different tastes than I do. so Don't knock it off the list until you try it.

if anything pass by the restaurant and you can ask to go see the food and they will let one person in to go look if you don't like what you see or smell then you saved yourself some money. lol!

We LOVE it .We eat there every trip sometimes twice. In fact we are going to be going again in October.Our 7 yr old loves it too and has been there since age 4

We have eaten there twice each trip,most recently in Nov.We really enjoy the food and atmosphere! The crab legs,calamari,and clams were really good,as well as the"non-seafood" items like the pasta,chicken,ribs etc... I almost put myself in a "coma" with the crab legs and calamari-it was a very good combination(to me)! Our DD's,now 5+7 have always liked it there too-best Mac and Cheese on property(to us).I forgot to mention the clam chowder-very good to just ok,depends on the night I guess.Everyone has different tastes,and expectations;that said,I'm waiting for "Free-Dining" to be offered again(did'nt book back in Nov.-dumb on my part)so we can get our ressies for 2 nights at Cape May Cafe!!!

we've been 2x with our 2 boys and we all love it! The salads are yummy too! The ribs, chicken, and pasta dish were good. DH and older ds loved the calamari and steamers. This year we are going on a Fried shrimp night..the menu changes slightly each night. Clam chowder was really good too, I'm a bit hungry now

Cape May is a must do for us! My DH and I are seafood fans, but our DD6 is a picky eater and we all love it. There is enough variety to please everyone. We're going back in October and can't wait. Also gives you a chance to experience the BC a little. How beautiful!

We absolutely LOVE Cape May, infact we eat there every trip. This is the one place that my DH insists on eating at every time! There is no rush, you can enjoy your meal, the servers keep the table clear of shells, and keep the drinks flowing!!
