The clam chowder at the Cape May buffet is IMO one of the best chowders I have had. But we do not have the buffet on our schedule this trip. Anyone know if there is a way to get it without paying for the buffet (e.g., take-out, another Beach Club restaurant)?

Such a shame - SOOOO delicious and we do not have room for the entire buffet on our schedule (we are trying all new restaurants)

Cloumiba Habor House has chowder also. It is a CS at MK. That might fill that chowder need.

:)

I hear you. But coming from the NE, I order chowder plenty - it's not a general need for clam chowder, but rather the incredible craving for Cape May's specific chowder.

There's a lot of "same" at Disney restaurants. Can't hurt to try the Chowder at CHH - it could be the same recipe!

Or, why not give a call to the restaurant, or stop by if you're in the area. They may be able to pack some up for a "fee" or pass along some tasty "magic" for you ;)

I got the Cape May chowder by going to the lounge that's just past it (I can't remember the name, but if you walk from the lobby, you go past Cape May, then the lounge, then Ariel's). I know it was Cape May's because when I ordered clam chowder, the server walked over there to get it. Last time I was in BC Marketplace, they had clam chowder there (even though I'd been told they wouldn't have it). I don't know if it's the same as Cape May's, but I know that AKL's CS serves the same soup as their TS, so maybe it's true of the clam chowder at BC also.

This is EXACTLY what I would do.....I couldn't see them turning you down for a cup of chowder that you are willing to pay for. I wouldn't give them a call, I'd just go there and ask for right there.
