Cape May Clam Bake or Whispering Canyon Cafe?

Well, Dh wants to change my plans some, He doesnt' want to leave MK one day for Lunch at Whispering Canyon Cafe but really wants to do it, So the only place we can change places with would be The Clam Bake.... So should we change, which one would be better, or cheaper?? We have 3 kids and 2 adults, I think the Clam Bake would be more expensive,
So help me decide which one we should go to for dinner/??? Thanks!!!

Depends on the ages of your children....the clam bake is about $22 per adult and $10 for children..(up to age 9??)...{I think}....WC is comparable for adults and only slightly less expensive for children....
The clam bake is rather laid back...and the WC is more of a "party atmosphere"...that your kids might really be into....

Check out www.wdwig.com and you can compare prices to the penny but I will try to give you an idea. At Whispering Canyons Cafe a kids meal will run anywhere from $5 for burgers, hot dogs, $7.49 for grilled chicken breast w/ mashed potatoes to $8.49 for the all-you-care-to-eat skillet. At the Calm Bake $9.99 or 10.99 per child. The adult entrees at WWC run anywhere from 14.99-25.00, the all-you-care-to-eat skillet is $22.99 per adult. Cape May will run you a little more.

As far as atmosphere WWC is loud and fun in MHO, the Clam Bake is quieter but the buffet area is oddly laid out and can be very crowded.

We enjoy them both, If I were picking I would pick Cape May but if my boys were picking they would vote WWC. We are doing both on our Dec trip.

My wife and I ate at both of these places in June and hands down loved the food at the Cape May Clam Bake better. The atmosphere at Whispering Canyon is better for children, but the food wasn't up to the price. We found spending a little extra paid off for us.

No contest here.... definitely Cape May Cafe!!! Better food, more peaceful atmosphere, much quieter!

Well, I have a different point of view I would chose WCC anytime over Cape May Cafe! I thought CMC's food was mediocre at best; the buffet/food area was kind of a mess; and the whole place just lacked something. I DO like breakfast there, but not dinner.

I asked my kids this question and they both agree the Cape May is the best choice! They are 9 & 11. They had something for everyone here, even my very picky daughter. My son even tried the claims and he loved them!
