I would really like to try this restaurant. My brother and his wife do not like seafood. Is there enough other types of food to justify the cost? The rest of us do like seafood, so I am trying to decide if everyone will be happy. Thanks.

I don't eat any seafood (I might have had 1 piece of battered/fried processed fish in about 7 trips), and I love the place. It was probably my favorite meal this past December.

We don't eat seafood and we LOVE Cape May.....we eat there atleast once every trip (breakfast and dinner :goodvibes). I was put off by the "Clam Bake" title, but a few years ago we decided to give it a try and I'm so glad we did as it's now one of our favorite places ::yes::. The buffet has plenty of variety that I don't think anyone will have any trouble finding things they like :).

This place is what keeps me coming back to WDW each year....

:cloud9: Oreo Bon Bons YUMM! :cloud9:

i have to say, i was completely un-impressed by this place.... the cost vs. avalible food choices just didnt do it for me and my GF... also the quality of the food was sub-par IMHO...

We seem to have established that the clam bake is fine for people that don't like seafood. The bigger issue is that people who do like seafood are often disappointed in the clam bake. Strange.

THere really isnt that much seafood on the buffet. Fried talapia, salmon, peel and eat shrimp, clam chowder and steamed mussles and clams. The rest (and there is a ton of food) is all regular stuff and it is very good.

Tip, dont go right at 5:30 when they open. The food has been sitting on the buffet for about 20 minutes and it is cold and hard and dry. We sat in the benches to the side of the restaurant for 30 minutes before they opened and watched them put all the food out very early. When we were seated eveything was blech. We waited until we saw them putting out fresh food....then it was YUM!!
