Cape May Character Breakfast...anything negative?

I just made PSs for this and I'm a little nervous for some reason. I've heard so many great reviews. It will be our last meal at Disney, as we will be heading for home after we eat I'm really hoping it will be a great experience. After hearing so many wonderful things about this breakfast, I'm wondering if anyone has any negative things to say?? Hope not but am curious to hear.

We have not had any negative to say about Cape Mae's breakfast. We have eaten there every trip since 1999 and have always been there during off season which it never seemed very busy. The buffet is always good and fresh and more than we can ever begin to eat. The service we have had has always been polite and efficient, and we never felt rushed out of the restaurant like at some others that are really busy. The characters were always around frequently, although I think Minnie just stayed at the entrance to meet and greet. I always find this a quite relaxing character meal with good food. We usually made our PS for 7:30AM. I am will be curious if anyone has a bad experience. Good luck and enjoy!

Love, love, love Cape May Buffet for b'fast! My DW and I do it at least once every trip, usually more than once. Goofy and Chip n' Dale are great at greeting everyone and clowning around. The buffet is good... on our last trip in Nov. I thought some of the selections had slipped a little. The bacon was crumbly and the eggs weren't quite as good as before.

But the selection is great... hot foods, cereals, pastries, including Krispy Kremes! Fresh fruit, granola, Mickey waffles, b'fast meats... I don't think they leave much out.

Service is also good. I agree with Kimlooman -- NOT rushed at all -- take all the time you want. Relax and enjoy.

But DO make a PS. You may get in without one, but it'll be a LONG wait.

We seem to make this our last meal a lot too Love it, oh, well, there is one bad thing, I wish they wouldn't drench the cheese blintzes on the kid's breakfast bar in strawberry sauce (but hey I can live without them, plenty of other goodies to choose from!!)
