I've finally made all my PSs (I couldn't believe it when a voice answered- I had gotten so used to being on hold). There is one day that I haven't decided on where to eat, and wanted opinions on Cape May Cafe. We love seafood- is the quality good here? It seems to be a decent price, and if the food is tasty I think it would be a good choice. I'd love to hear your experiences here, please! Thanks!

Cape May is my *favorite* restaurant on property. We usually eat there for dinner every trip. :D

The steamed clams and mussels are very good (I like the mussels best), and the peel n' eat shrimp is pretty good too. There's usually a baked fish on the buffet as well, but that about does it for seafood.

There are other selections on the buffet that are really good, too, like chicken, prime rib, and bbq ribs.

I HIGHLY reccomend it! You won't be sorry!

We love the Cape May Cafe!! The dinner buffet is wonderful! And for my DH and I to both find food we really like in one place is no easy feat ;)

I agree with the previous post, there isn't a ton of seafood, but there are lots of other choices.

Here's another vote for Cape May's buffet! It is on our must do list. One of the best buffets at WDW!

We also ate in the cape may cafe this year and enjoyed it. I would recommend it to anyone (plus it is in a great resort!)

My family of six had dinner at the Cape May Cafe on November 23, 2003, and we all found plenty to like.

Definitely a YAY for me but then I love steamed clams, not big on mussels at all. If you have checked out the menu you know what to expect.

Another thumbs up for Cape May! We had dinner there last NYE, and thoroughly enjoyed it. :D

Well, it certainly looks like this place is a go! Good thing, I was missing my daily attempts to get through to Disney Dining:p
Now if anyone can tell me how to make the next 3 1/2 weeks go by faster, I'd appreciate that, too!!

I agree with everyone above. Dinner at the Cape May Cafe is really great! So much to choose from. Hot and cold foods and plenty for non-seafood lovers.
You will not be disppointed.......Enjoy...............:Pinkbounc

We are Cape May junkies! We are BC DVC members and so glad that we are so close to the Cape May.
Seafood is fantastic and the variety is great. I believe the price to be rather reasonable as well--all you can eat seafood can be VERY expensive! The main dishes are succulent but don't overlook some of the "starters". The bisque soup that I had there this past September there was out of this world!
The desserts are excellent as well.
The kids bar was rated a thumbs up by my 7,5,&4 year olds too!::MinnieMo

Another "yes" vote for the Cape May Cafe. This spot is on our must do list. Make sure you make a PS, they are very busy and don't be afraid if some of your family prefers beef my DH loves their prime rib and bq selections.

Another Yay here!Good food, good variety, GREAT dessert bar! And it's fun to take a loop around to the Boardwalk after dinner--you even burn a calorie or two!

Oh we love Cape May. We go 2x at least on each trip. Wonderful atmosphere, yummy food, and especially the service one of the best on property.

Ate at the Cape May last week. Delicious. We highly recommend it to all, especially seafood lovers!

We went back in July, and really enjoyed the Dinner. The wait can be lenghly, without a reservation, but we just waited in the "stand by"anyways. You can just walk around. But since we stayed in the hotel(Yacht side though), my dh would come down, get put on the standby list, and then he would come back upstairs, and we would get ready then. It was about 45 min, but that's how we long we wait sometimes at restaurants, at home, during busy summer nights. I'm not a seafood eater, and I found plenty. The mashed potatoes, were awesome! And the desserts, were yummy too! What's cool, is they put paper down, like a tablecloth, and the kids can color away. They have sandcastles, all over, which is cool too. They had a certain time, set aside , where you can pictures with Minnie too, which was neat. ::MinnieMo

Cape may is our favorite. Our last trip 3 weeks ago we had dinner there twice. (my husband decided 3 heaping plates of clams were not enough the first time around he wanted 4) LOL
