I've checked out the menu for Cape May cafe's dinner menu and would like more menu details. If you have any please let me know. Also, your thoughts on the place. Thanks!

We always enjoy the Cape May Cafe, for dinner or breakfast. Dinner has a lot of seafood options and also seperate choices for the kids(nuggets, mac & cheese, etc..). The desserts have always been good too. If you like buffets, it's pretty good. Have fun!

We went last December and it's a little tough to remember all of it. I know there are about a half dozen cold salads including a fruit salad. There's bread. Veggies have about a half dozen choices, too including corn on the cob. There's a kid's area, too which I believe includes mac and cheese. There was chicken. The desert bar had about 4 items to pick from. I believe they serve clams, as well.

This is always on the top of my list to go to; I like there buffet. Also, I like Boma's. Those are my two favorites.

What seafood is included on the buffet? The menu only includes mussels and clams. Thank you!

PS = We love Boma's too.

Oh, I hope MickeyNikki will post the link to her dining review of the Cape May dinner. Her pics are fantastic! The main reason I have decided to try it in Nov.

MickeyNikki??

My family liked Cape May Cafe. (DH, DD 8, DD 4 and myself) We're all seafood lovers and enjoyed it. The mussels were good, DH liked the ribs and I liked that there was a pretty good variety. Desserts were pretty good too. Overall, the atmosphere was alright but it was very crowded and loud. Transportation was a bit tricky for us since we were in EPCOT and thought there was a bus to the resort. (Only a boat or walk from the International gateway) Youngest DD refused to walk back through EPCOT to the boat launch or gateway, so we rode to the TTC and then transferred. Let DD take a little nap. But keep this in mind.....I'm sure if we had asked, any employee could have told us. Anyway, I would recommend Cape May Cafe. Not a romantic spot but good food, and lots of it.

You're right! The pictures make you want to make a reservation today. I really appreciate the links you posted. Very helpful.

I did and it made me add a few places to my already oversubscribed list of restaurants to visit, unfortunately we have a fussy special needs son so we tend to favour buffets but your photos helped me make up my mind on some new places to try for our 2nd visit.

We were there last year(8 of us). We all loved it! Even the picky teens found something they liked! We will definitely go again next year! :goofy:

They have the best cornbread!:goodvibes I save it for dessert!!!

DH and I enjoy it. I mostly eat seafood, and except for the peel and eat shrimp, DH eats the meat selections, and we're always happy!!!

Glad the pics helped!

Can anyone report whether prime rib has been on the dinner buffet recently? I have seen it listed in some dining reports but saw a thread that indicated it was being removed from buffets.

I can't wait for Cape May -- our ADR is in just a few weeks! I haven't been in 12 years, but I do remember it was tasty.

Hi,

We just arrived home this afternoon from our first ever Disney vacation and we actually ate at Cape May last night. It was awesome, there were 11 of us there and we all agreed that this was hands down the best buffet of the trip. (We think our best meal was at Ohana but this was a close second).
They had a salad bar, roast beef or prime rib, I'm not sure which but either way my husband said it was delicious, corn on the cob, a pasta dish, sausage and peppers, mashed potatoes, green beans, and ribs that were to die for. We aren't seafood eaters so I can't comment on that. They also had yummy desserts. Definitely worth going to!

Love the pictures! Thanks for the info. We are eating there for the first time in august
