I looked at the menu on the dis at Cape May cafe and didn't see crab legs listed, but saw some that said yes they had them and some said no. Anyone know if they do or do not have crablegs on the bufett? We are going in Sept. thanks

When we were there they did not have crab legs on the buffet. You could order crab legs & pay extra.

I went there last June and I don't remember seeing crab legs. :confused3 I might have missed them though!

No crab legs when we went either. We actually thought the buffet was sort of weak- just our opinion. We went once, probably won't go again.

I'm pretty sure they added crab legs in September or October. They are definitely on the menu now!

Yes, we were there in October and they have added crab legs to their menu. We loved this buffet. My dad went back for 5ths on the clams and I have rarely seen my father eat seconds! He is diabetic and watches what he eats carefully but this buffet was a hit with all of us; myself, my hubby, my mom and dad.

Just returned from our Marathon trip - crab legs were on the menu - snow crab legs, nice and sweet with the butter! YUM!

I wonder if inclusion on the menu is going to be seasonal. You'd think, given that they're typically frozen not fresh, that season wouldn't matter...

We were there in October and they were a permanent part of the menu. They were the best I have ever had. From what I hear they have increased the price but for the variety and quality of the food it is still worth it. At least to me .
They are steamed right behind the buffet so they are hot and fresh ( not sitting in water waiting to go on the buffet.

We were there in mid October and they did have crab legs. As a PP noted, I was not very inpressed with the selection of food for non seafood lovers. My DW and DMIL really liked it. I unfortunatly, did not! :sad2: BTW, being from NJ, I can say with absolute certainty that there is no such thing as "Cape May Ribs"! :confused3 I'm sure that Texas and Kansas City have ribs that will make their cities/states proud, but Cape May does not. So, beware!

Enjoy...

Doug

You just never know if they'll be there in September, but there were crab legs on the buffet about 2 weeks ago.

When we were there in May/June, they were testing the crab legs at Cape May. When we went back in October, they were also on the buffet.

Does the buffet price include the crab legs?

Yes they are part of the buffet no extra charge, they have however raised the price of the buffet. BTW, I eat at Cape May every time I go and I can say IMHO that there are many options for non seafood lovers. prime rib, chicken, salads, sausage and peppers, mac and cheese, potatoes, and much more. I have always enjoyed the ribs there and I lived in CT, TX, and currently reside in AL. so I know a little about ribs as well.

We ate there probably about a month ago and there were crab legs. Got there as they opened and the line was long for them too. But did shorten quite a bit maybe just a half hour later.
What I thought was the best thing was something like a beef burgundy or stroganoff. It was on the seafood side, so hard to get to. But it was really good.
