Hello:

Accordingly to deb wills all ears dining menu, this event has prime rib beef, ribs and sirloin steak, and chicken fingers for the children, can anyone who has been to this recently say if this is true. I am not a fish/clam eater so I just want to make sure they have other things.

Thanks,

Deb.

Cape May clam bake has many other foods other than fish. They have prime rib, ribs, and many things for children to choose. It is a pretty decent buffet.

One of my must do reservations every trip!:thumbsup2
Incredible selection, not just sea food (although you will 'see food' a lot of it):rotfl2:

I don't eat seafood and this is my favorite dinner buffet at WDW - so much so that it's where I'm having dinner on my bday. The "land" part of the buffet has just as much as the "sea" part. And the desserts are really good. If you like chocolate, the Oreo bon-bons are almost worth the price of admission alone.

DD9 is planning on celebrating her 10th bday there too. She does eat seafood though.

I was wondering the same thing. This will be our first time and my DH loves seafood but me, not so much. Thanks!

Their ribs are half the reason we go to cape may (as well as the delish seafood lol) Soooo good. They also have plenty of other choices for non-seafood eaters. And don't worry about grabbing some chicken fingers or macaroni&cheese from the 'kids' food. Plenty of adults (including myself:rolleyes1) munch on that food too.
And I second the oreo bon bons being worth going there too. OMG make sure you leave room for these.

I agree with everyone else! We're a family of six: My DH, me, our kids ages 15, 12, 9, and 4. There's something for all of us there. We really enjoyed our meal.

My DH who hates seafood insists we go here every trip. I love seafood so I don't fight it. My DD strikes the difference and partakes in it all. It's a great restaurant in a good location that has something for everyone. Enjoy!

Cape May Cafe's buffet is set up in a large rectangle. One of the long sides if filled with seafood, the other long side has pasta, vegetables, chicken, ribs etc. The short end at the beginning is an extensive salad bar and finally the other end has a carving station and "kids" food (chicken nuggets, pizza, mac cheese) and the kids desserts. Finally off to the side is the dessert buffet. This buffet has something for everyone. It's a great price for all you get....just make sure you are hungry when you go!

This is one dinner I'm really looking forward to for our next trip. We're big seafood eaters, but the selection on the other side of the buffet is pretty good, too.

im a big seafood eater and love the cape may my mom doesnt like seafood and loves this place the food is delishish she loves the sausages here and i love the ribs dont worry youll love it
