Ds is nine, dd is three...which one would be best for all of us to attend as a family...would like thoughts on character interaction as well as quality of food. Thanks.

We stay at BC, but have not had the breakfast, but it looks good, and it is a great place to meet Mickey, Minnie, and the gang.
We had Ohana's on our last trip and loved it. Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, and Pluto. The food was served family style (all you can eat), wonderful pineapple bread and papaya (I think) juice, great view. The characters came around to the tables, then there was a parade with the characters around the restaurant with shakers.
I would recommend this. We had a 7:30 res. and made it to AK by 9:00 opening.

We have eaten at all three many times, sometimes with our children sometimes just my wife and I and sometimes me when I am their on business. But with young children I am going to say just consider Cape May and Ohana. So let me give you my run down of both.

Ohana as previously mentioned has a great view, the food is excellent and the atmosphere is fun for children and relaxed for adults (until the parade that is). As far as Character intereaction this is something that I think varies a lot at Ohana, and I have come to believe that it is because of the parade they put on. I have been there many times when the characters will come out get half way around the room and then the parade starts so they join the parade then when its over they haven't started where they left off they start right where they started earlier. One experience we had was when it was just my wife and I and we were sitting against the west windows just away from the corner. There was a large group sitting in the corner with I believe 6 children. Goofy had made his way around the room and had twice made it to us just as he had to go back in. He kept coming to feed my wife her food which the kids at the table next to us thought was hilarious, then as he would leave they would call to him and beg him to come over but he would just wave. This isn't alway what we've seen at Ohana but it isn't few and far between either.

Cape May has two major differences from O'hana (besides the menu.) First, at Cape May you have to go to the Buffet to get your food and it at times can be crowded. Second, NO character parade. Now this is where I came up with my theory about the parade at O'hana being what messed up the character interaction, The characters here follow a pattern and have nothing to distract them (besides my sister and goofy chasing each other around the restaurant after hugging and putting kick me signs on each others backs (help from the waiting staff)) I have never been to Cape May where I didn't see every character at least twice. It doesn't matter where we have been seated the characters just seem to circulate more frequently. Now Cape May also has fewer tables by just a few so that can help as well (for anyone who might later point that out.) Also depending on how young your children are there are lots of cereals and other finger foods for babies/toddlers.The food is great, the atmosphere is fun and its a great start to a day at EPCOT or MGM (or any other park but those are just so convinient.)

All that being said, if I had to choose just one with young kids it would probably be Cape May. If my wife was choosing she'd say O'hana (she is sitting next to me and saying "but O'hana reminds me so much of our trips to Hawaii") I hope that this helps you some how make your decision. Whereever you choose have a GREAT time!!!
