It looks like crab legs are back on the menu - I just wanted to verify and ask if they are served hot. Thanks!!

They are hot but they were mediocre at best the night we went.

They have been on the menu since early last year. They were hot, but hubby says they were mediocre at best

do they bring the crab legs to you or are they on the buffet? How about the clams?

The Crab legs were hot and delicious on Oct. 6th. but the Peel and eat shrimp I had there were large and spectacular imo. I think I could have eaten several trays of those shrimp.

Tell me about the breakfast at Cape May?:confused3

It was FABULOUS! The food is your typical breakfast stuff but it is done so well. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. They have a breakfast pizza and baked french toast thing that are to die for! The character interaction was top notch. The mornings we were there, Minnie, Donald and Goofy made the rounds twice and they really took their time with each family. The service was very attentive and helpful. And the restaurant itself was much more relaxed and calming so it is a very refreshing start to your day.

On the buffet but be wary of the clams. My son and I had two big servings. The first was fabulous (hence the second). The second serving was really gritty.

Overall, the meal was really good. My wife is not a buffet fan but we all agreed we would return next year.

I thought that they might be served hot. It's kinda odd for us since our seafood is always eaten cold here (cooked but served on ice) so having hot crab legs might be a little different lol

Is it the same with the peel-and-eat shrimp?

How is the corn on the cob there? Is it crispy and sweet, or mushy? I love corn on the cob, but won't eat it if I know it's mushy and tasteless. I have a PS there next month, and am an AVID seafood lover, especially crab meat, so I'm going to be in my glory!

The shrimp is on ice but the night we went it was kind of warm.

It was pretty good. It wasn't real crisp but it also wasn't mushy. DS loved it! He went to the buffet with DH for crab and came back with his own bucket of corn.

I've never had clams before. Do you just pick the meat out with your fork? Do you dip them in a sauce? Do clams taste like oysters? I've eaten plenty of those!
I LOVE crab and just like to use a little butter/lemon sauce for them.
Can't wait! We had reservations at Coral Reef but I cancelled and made reservations at Cape May, mainly because of the crabs.

Ate here 1st time in Aug. It is now a definite go to. Clams were very good but not anything like oysters. Crab was also very good.
