cape may cafe and walk to epcot?

I'd like to make our character breakfast ressie at cape may cafe. Ideally i would like to drive to cape may cafe, park there and walk to epcot from there but I'm not sure we're allowed to leave the car there all day. Alternatively, if we park at epcot, can we walk to cape may through international gateway or does it not open until worldshowcase opens at 12md or whatever?

Of you go to park at the resort you will be given a three hour parking pass and run the risk of getting towed if you go over. I'm not sure what happens if you valet park.

The International Gateway opens when FW opens. CMs will guide you so that you don't go to an area you aren't supposed to be in.
