Does anybody recommend the CMC? Is it usually packed? Do you think all of the good ADR times will be gone by now for dinner on July 8th? Do you think it would be an easy walk in? I was thinking about booking 1 more restaurant in the Epcot area that night so are there any restaurants that are easier than others to get in as a walk in (assuming I can't get a good ADR).

Hi,

It will almost definitely NOT be an easy walk-in. July 8 is the end part of the busiest week of the summer.

If you want to eat there, why not call for an ADR? That's the only way you will know for sure how hard it will be to get one. None of us here on the DIS can tell you if all the good times will be taken.

ESPN does not take ADRs so you can always try walking in there.

As Bob said, it will not be an easy walk-in. The last time we were there for dinner we had to make ADRs for close to 8pm, which I thought was a bit late but that was the only time they had for the days we had and we really wanted to do the clam bake.

I went to Disney for the day on 6/23. I went to guest relations at AK around 10:30 in the a.m. and asked if they had any availability at CMC. I got 7:20 that night and was seated within 15 minutes of the ADR time.

We love this place for breakfast and dinner.

We had ressies for breakfast in Feb and April and the place was just about empty.

We had ressies for dinner in Feb and March and it was a sold out packed place both times....walk ins were turned away

Thanks for the advice. Surprisingly, we got ADR's for 6:10! Wow! We are so excited!
