Cape May Buffet Breakfast or Clam Bake???

Who has been to Cape May Buffet for breakfast and/or the clam bake? Which would you recommend and why? For those who have gone to the clam bake how was it? Thanks for any and all opinions!

We love the breakfast, characters usually make it around numerous times. I never felt rushed, it isn't loud and chaotic like other character meals can be.

We have also had the clam bake, it was good but I don't feel like I NEED to go back.

I love the Clam Bake, it is one of my favorite meals at WDW.

The breakfast buffet is nice, but it is just breakfast.

We did both in December (on the same day actually lol) and we are going back to the clambake in August. They are both great though.

Same here. Breakfast was fabulous. When we overslept for our Boma ADR we went back to Cape May for a second day because we enjoyed it so much the day before.

The clam bake was not a good experience. We waited an hour past our ADR because they were in the middle of a "turn over." I'm not sure what that means but the lobby of the Beach Club was PACKED with restless Cape May guests. Finally, every stinking pager in the lobby went off and we all herded towards to door to be seated. It was total chaos!

Aside from that, the food was just OK. DH is a crab leg guy. I've seen him eat close to 10 pounds in a sitting before but he ate one cluster that night. The meat was chewy and it stuck inside the shells. I kept getting him new clusters when I'd see them put fresh out and they were all like that. So that really kind of killed it for us.

I have the feeling that is was just a bad night that night but based on our experience, if I could only do one, I'd do breakfast.

We really enjoyed the breakfast this past Feb. We had a late seating and it was really great. Saw the characters several times, food was plentiful and hot. We will definitely be returning!

Love the clam bake - we've done it on our last two trips and will be there again in a few weeks! Good value for what you get.

We've been to the "Clam Bake" 3 times now... NOT a Destination Restaurant IMHO.....

Haven't done the Breakfast...

I vote you do the Breakfast....
