Cape May Breakfast to Studios?

Hi all! Looking for opinions on my latest crazy idea. Okay, maybe it's not so crazy.

If I can get an early ADR at Cape May Cafe for the character breakfast, how feasible is it to make it to DHS for rope drop? Or is that just hoping for too much?

Presuming I get an early ADR (told myself I'd sleep on this idea for now) will we easily be able to get to the Beach Club from Pop Century at that time of day?

I've heard good things about this breakfast, so I'd really like to try it if possible! But if having a food court breakfast at POP that morning makes more sense I certainly can't complain.

I think you would really be pushing it to get from breakfast to HS in time for rope drop. The earliest ADR you could get would be 8:05 (leaving Pop at 7ish) Then assume you get seated right away, eat pretty quick then run to transportation to DHS...go through bag check, scan your tickets and get to the rope drop before 9. That would be pretty darn impressive!

I would pick your priority. If it's to eat at Cafe May, then go for it. If it's to get to rope drop, then eat at Pop.

i am in a similar boat (the eating at Cape May part)...how do you get from POP to the Beach club??? is there a bus that goes directly there? or would i have to go to epcot and then walk there?

You would have to take a bus to Epcot and then walk to the Beach Club. Another option would be to take a taxi?

To be honest, that plan would be a little too crazy for our family... like a PP said, I would decide whether you would rather eat at Cape May or make it to rope drop, and then pick one. But if you do decide to try and squeeze in both, good luck!

Another thought would be to do rope drop at DHS preferably a early morning and just grab a granola bar from your room. Have ADRs for Cape May's towards the end of the morning and ride the boat from DHS to Beach Club. If not that, ride the boat over for a burger & ice cream at Beaches & Cream later in the day. Then you could walk through Epcot to catch a bus back to POP.

Bus to Epcot won't work for an early breakfast. Buses to Epcot drop you off at the front of the park and BC is accessed by leaving Epcot via the International Gateway. They won't let you walk through Epcot before park opening in order to get to BC.

There is no bus from Pop to BC (or from any resort to any other resort for that matter). You could take a bus to DHS and walk from there or take a cab (which will be much more efficient, although more costly).

We got an ADR at like 740 for Cape May Cafe. And that was the later of the 2 choices. I don't think the earliest you can get is 805.

There is usually a character breakfast bus that will take you from your resort to the parks. Instead of going to Epcot, you want to go to DHS and walk or take the boat over to the Beach Club. If you take the bus to Epcot you have to walk through Epcot. Taking the bus to DHS? Don't have to actually enter the park.

My parents and I have ADR's at CMC for 8 one morning. (Same morning as the 740, we originally had 6 people, then it dropped to 3.) My Mom and I were talking about possibily making it later than 8, but then decided, eh, if we finish early, we could possibily make rope drop at DHS! OR if we don't, we'll still be there before 930 (fastpasses to TSM anyone??)

So if its something you want to do, I say call and find out what times are available. If you can get something before 8, make it and then inquire at your resort how to get over there. Disney will take care of you!

Cape May opens at 7:30 am, it is usually very very slow that early. We can get in and out of there in 30-40 minutes and walk or take the boat to HS...DH and I can do it but it may be more difficult with kids
