So I have a question...

I'm staying at the Grand Flo with reservations at MK on 10/1.

With the park reservation system now, can I go back and forth to the hotel and not have to worry about getting denied access later in the day due to capacity?

Yes, you can go back and forth, without any real worry.
Technically, if they hit true total capacity, they could restrict re-entry. But I can't remember the last time they reached a level where they had to restrict on-site guests from entering a park.

Your MK reservation guarantees you access all day. You should be fine.

This.
This question has been asked frequently as the possibility of a park being at capacity had people worried about not being able to get back in.
If you have a park pass, you are supposed to be able to come and go throughout the day as you wish.
If you hop to another park, there may or may not be room for you there.

I understand that people are curious and want to plan ahead, but has any of this happened yet?

Has any park reached capacity and had to restrict reentry?
Has any park reached capacity and not allowed hopping?

MK has reached capacity on Oct 1 and everyone with a reservation can leave and return all day.
Interesting that EPCOT has reached capacity on Oct 2.
But as of writing this, all parks are open during the crazy week between Christmas and New Year.

The answer to those 2 questions is no.
Just about everyone who will be at MK on 10/1 are likely to go to Epcot on 10/2 to catch their new offerings on the second day.
I changed my Epcot day to 10/3 to hopefully try to avoid more crowds, but I won't be bummed out either way since it really made no difference to me.
