dedicating three days to Disney including a day at one of the water parks. Kids are 6 & 9. Can someone tell me which W.P. would suit this age group and if I would be making a mistake by not going Hopper Pass and just visiting Magic Kingdom and Epcot ? Thanks !!

With only 3 days at Disney, I would skip the waterparks unless this isn't your first time. There is simply too much to see at the regular parks. I would hit EPCOT the first day, MK the second day, AK the morning of the 3rd day, with the afternoon devoted to MK, again. You really need those park hoppers.

We were there for a week and only ended up doing MK (X2) and Epcot. We also visited Downtown Disney, the kds did a Pirate Cruise and we all went to the Hoopdy Doo Review.

For three days... I agree... skip the water parks and focus on the real cores of WDW... MK and Epcott and maybe MGM.

Just my Canadian 2-cents!

First of all, :flower3: :welcome: to the Dis!

Since you only have three days, you may want to skip a water park. But if your kids are intent on going to a water park, it depends on what your kids like. If they are into more swimming and adventure, pick Typhoon Lagoon. If slides are their thing, Blizzard Beach is the way to go.

:sunny: Whatever you choose to do, have a wonderful trip!

I would give the same advise as the previous posters. I would skip the water park, and use all the time for MK, Epcot and maybe a half day at either AK or MGM. My 11 and 8 y.o. boys have been there about 35 or 40 days in the last 6 years and we still haven't been to a water park. And they like water parks. But water parks are everywhere and Disney is only in Orlando and Anaheim.

I, too, would skip the water park and maybe devote one more day to MGM/AK. My wife and I just got back from Disney at the beginning of the month, there for seven full days, and I consider our decision to hit the water parks questionable even then!

Have to agree, skip the waterpark. Do MK, Epcot and MGM if no park hopper. MGM on the day you arrive, so you can get a full MK day the next day, then Epcot for your next biggest day. You will in no way be able to see it all, so start planning your next trip :goodvibes
