For the last two days, I can't seem to view any new threads. I get a page that says:
503 Service Unavailable
The server is temporarily busy, try again later!

I can view posts on threads that I have read in the past but I get this error on every thread that I have not yet read.

I assuming it's just my computer but I have closed the browser and started a new session and all other pages any where on the Internet seem to work fine.

Any chance that anyone else is experiencing this or has any ideas how I can fix it? Thanks for your help!

The same thing keeps happening to me, but if I open it in a new tab, I don't have any problem. :confused3 I have no idea why it works, but 9/10 times it helps. DH writes code and can't figure it out, so I don't feel too bad! :rotfl2: Give it a try and see if it works for you. HTH! :goodvibes

It happens to me too. I restart my computer and it works okay. This website is the only one I've had it happen to.

I've had the same thing happen to me in both Firefox and Chrome. So far, IE seems not to produce the issue - so I've been using that.

It's a really weird error - I work in website testing, and have never seen anything like it before!

This happens to me from time to time. I just clear the cookies for disboards and viola problem solved!

I have it happen from time to time, I use IE. My DH told me to reset my cookies? by logging out and back in. I have no idea what it means but when it happens and I do it it works no problem.

Thanks Guys!

Of course, after I posted the thread, I couldn't see any of the replies! But my work computer is just fine. I do use IE at work and Firefox at home. I'll try all of the suggestions here when I get home and hopefully I'll be able to view ALL the threads on my favorite board!

Firefox does the same to me every so often. To fix it:
Click on the Firefox menu and chose Preferences.
On the preferences screen click on the Privacy tab and then chose Show Cookies.
Scroll down to disboards.com, click on it/highlight it and then click on Remove Cookie (NOT Remove All Cookies).

If you stay logged in to Disboards on your computer all of the time you'll have to reenter your password to post, but the problem should be taken care of.
:goodvibes HTH!
